Engineering has no age limit
The objective is not to lecture. It is to let students build, experiment, compete, and discover engineering themselves.

Decorating a balloon rocket before testing
Why RAEA teaches
Engineering education should not be limited to the classroom. By teaching younger students, RAEA members strengthen their own communication and leadership skills while helping inspire the next generation of engineers.
How a workshop runs.
The order matters: students meet the physics before they build, and build before anyone tells them what should have worked.
- 01
Introduction
Who RAEA is and what the session will build.
- 02
Physics lesson
Thrust, motion, Newton's Laws, acceleration.
- 03
Demonstration
A working balloon rocket, run in front of the group.
- 04
Construction
Students build their own rockets.
- 05
Testing
Each rocket is launched and measured.
- 06
Competition
A friendly run-off between the designs.
- 07
Reflection
What changed the result, and why.
